ISG Transport is a for-profit non-emergency medical transportation provider proudly serving the local and long-distance transportation needs throughout Northern Virginia and prescheduled appointments beyond.

Launched in 2014, ISG Transport is owned and operated by an experienced business owner, Iris Burgos. After conducting various market and demographic research, Iris became inspired by the great opportunity to provide area seniors and those with mobility issues throughout Northern Virginia with a more timely and reliable transportation solution.

ISG’s fleet of ADA compliant vehicles are well maintained and transport client to and from senior daycare programs, various medical appointments, hospital discharges, dialysis treatments, rehabilitation and physical therapy, chemotherapy, radiation, and more.

ISG performs thousands of successful transports per month, but unlike other services operating as a curb-to-curb service, ISG is committed to safely escorting patients and residents from their residence or facility to a clean, comfortable, and modern wheelchair accessible vehicle. On arrival at their destination, trained staff will escort clients to check-in.

In leveraging more than a decade of experience and successfully performing tens of thousands of assisted transports, ISG continues to build strong relationships with area staff, patients, and families. Rather than focusing exclusively on volume and profits, ISG is keenly focused on providing exceptional and timely customer service with the compassion you and your loved ones deserve.

We are continuously striving to implement effective strategies for enhanced training, integrated technologies, and managerial support and communication. Because we provide local and long distance transportation, effective planning and communication between dispatch and key facilities is paramount.

We continuously work on enhancing our scheduling and traffic management in an effort to reduce travel and wait times while increasing efficiency. We work to adapt and implement policies and procedures to support our mission, to analyze and advise on transportation issues, evaluate scheduling conflicts, negotiate and correspond with carriers, vendors, and strategic partners.

Dispatchers will receive extensive instruction on using our technological integration systems designed to support our growing scheduling and logistical demands. Dispatchers are responsible for the following:

Customer intake
Preparation of daily schedules and trip manifests
Effective driver management and scheduling
Trip management and oversight
Coordination with facility personnel
